Dark Horse Comics and Blizzard Entertainment have established a partnership. The publisher announced plans to create digital comics, a graphic novel, and an art book inspired by the Overwatch video game.
Here’s more from the press release: “Dark Horse has already begun republishing a series of free digital comics by Blizzard Entertainment that further illuminate the characters and world of Overwatch. A number of eight-page digital comics are already available through Dark Horse’s digital comics platforms, with more currently in production and slated for release in the future.”
The original graphic novel will be released as a hardcover book in April 2017. This graphic novel will feature the story of the Overwatch shooting team. The Art of Overwatch book will follow in Summer 2017. This art book will showcase several pieces of never-before-seen concept artwork.
