ComiXology Launches Subscription Access to Digital Comics

Amazon’s digital comics site ComiXiology, has launched a new digital subscription service. For $5.99 a month, subscribers get unlimited access to digital comics.

Comixology Unlimited is launching with thousands of titles and will add more to the library in the future. The library mainly consists of independently published comics. Readers can curate their lists, as they would a Netflix page, using the site’s search filters, home page curation, and its editorial guides.

Users can still purchase digital comics from the site. For instance, Marvel and DC comics, which are not available in the subscription service will still be for sale through the app.
