Colin Farrell has been cast in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie. According to TIME, Farrell (pictured, via) will take on the role of a wizard named Graves.
Here’s more from The Hollywood Reporter: “The story centers on Newt’s adventures in the secret community of witches and wizards as he attempts to document magical creatures. The events of Fantastic Beasts take place 70 years before Harry Potter reads Newt’s book in school.”
Other cast members include Eddie Redmayne as the magical zoologist Newt Scamander, Dan Fogler as a muggle named Jacob, and Katherine Waterston as the witch Porpentina. This Harry Potter-themed spinoff project, helmed by David Yates, will hit theaters on November 18, 2016. (via Entertainment Weekly)
