Rados had served as director of Digital Markets for Sterling Publishing. Before that, she worked with Food Network and MTV Networks. Chelsea Green has recorded strong performance during the recession. Last year the company’s publisher Margo Baldwin noted: “We’ve just finished our best year ever and continue to grow.”

Here’s Baldwin’s statement about the job: “This is a new position at Chelsea Green and one that we think is absolutely critical as we navigate our way into a digital future. I’m thrilled to have found someone as talented and creative as Kate, who is able to view the current unraveling of the traditional book business as an incredible opportunity to become a better, more innovative book publisher.”
