C-SPAN has spiffed up its Book TV website in bright new colors and, more significantly, expanded embedded video offerings on the home page and a promise that any video programming added to the site will stay online for the indefinite future. “The new site gives our audience the ability to watch more past programming online and easier access to detailed schedule information to plan their weekend viewing,” Book TV executive producer Connie Doebele said in a press releaase announcing the changes. “The expanded content and new features, many of which were driven by viewer comments, complement our on-air programming.” You can even track the Book TV bus as it makes its way to various local literary events.
