Penguin Young Readers announced plans to release a paperback edition of Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson. This memoir (written in verse) will feature seven new poems.
The new paperback will come out on October 11. The original hardcover edition was published in August 2014. Later that year, the book earned Woodson the National Book Award for young people’s literature.
