Oscar-nominated actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast in a new production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. It will take place at the Barbican, a London-based theater.
The New York Times reports that this show “is easily the most anticipated event of the London theatrical season. Its lead producer, Sonia Friedman, said she believed it was the fastest-selling play in British history, with its advance seats going within hours.”
