Amy Schumer (pictured, via) has signed a deal with the Simon & Schuster imprint, Gallery Books. The comedienne and filmmaker plans to write a collection of personal stories entitled The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo.
Jennifer Bergstrom, the publisher of the imprint, negotiated with David Kuhn, the founder of Kuhn Projects. The publishing house holds the United States, Canada, open market, and audio rights.
According to the press release, Schumer has agreed to serve as the narrator for the audiobook edition. The release date has been scheduled for Aug. 16.
