Amazon To Open Fulfillment Centers In Pennsylvania & Indiana

By Dianna Dilworth

Amazon is opening fulfillment centers in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania (which is near Allentown), as well as in Plainfield, Indiana.

The company is hiring hundreds of people for full time and seasonal employment in both of these new locations. Job seekers can apply for hourly positions at this link and management positions at this link.

Amazon’s VP of North American Operations Dave Clark attributed both openings to local government commitment. He stated: “We’re committed to growth in Pennsylvania because Governor Corbett and other state officials have demonstrated their commitment to Amazon jobs and investment.”

Over the past few months, Amazon has been announcing plans for new fulfillment centers across the country, which will open this year. This includes locations in Washington State, South Carolina and Tennessee, as well as the expansion of an existing fulfillment center in Phoenix, Arizona.
