Amazon has released the Fire HD 8 Reader’s Edition, a version of the company’s latest tablet new Fire HD 8 aimed at readers.
The device comes with Kindle Unlimited, the company’s subscription service that gives readers access to more than 1 million books.
Perhaps of most interest to readers, the device comes with a new feature called Blue Shade, which is designed to make it easier to read in the dark. The tablet will automatically reduce blue light exposure in dimly lit environments in order to make it easer on a reader’s eyes.
The device comes wrapped in a limited edition leather cover and costs $249.99. Amazon will begin shipping these devices on Dec. 9.
