We hear James Frey is going to be “interning” for one-foot-out-the-door Gawker editor Sheila McClear all day today, which came as a bit of a surprise since the paperback edition of Bright Shiny Morning isn’t scheduled to come out for another five months.
We have no idea what the day holds in store for Gawker readers, and couldn’t even begin to hazard a guess, although McClear’s email suggests he’s bringing donuts to the office. Maybe they’ll have those little candy sprinkles, and they’ll get all over his hands, and she can take a picture!
