A Literary Education From Disney Animated Movies

“Why waste money on an English degree when you can just watch Disney movies?” asked BuzzFeed fellow Adam Moerder, compiling a list of “16 Fancy Literary Techniques Explained By Disney.”

The list covered topics such as foreshadowing, breaking the fourth wall, and poetic justice.

 

The images are sourced from some of Disney’s most beloved movies including The Little Mermaid (1989), Aladdin (1992), and The Lion King (1994).

Sadly, English majors seem to be declining in recent years. What do you think?
