Viral Heroes’ Frontman Announces New Label, Cuddly Business Partners

Despite the textual barbs fired at EMI, OK Go frontman Damian Kulash seems rather friendly here towards his band’s former label, which they just left after their “This Too Shall Pass” YouTube clip scored nearly 7 million hits in a week.

In the above clip, the singer is joined by his new furry “business partners,” who are joining him on the band’s new label Paracadute, which Kulash says, is “…kind of like a record company, except it’s for whatever we feel like making and whatever we feel like doing with whatever we feel like making.”

OK Go’s departure is just one in a string of hits EMI has taken this week, following Pink Floyd winning a lawsuit and its recorded unit CEO Elio Leoni-Sceti exiting after just two years.
