TBG Goes from Skeletal Street Signs to ‘Screenstagrams’

By Kiran Aditham

Now that they’ve unveiled those nifty LED warning signs for NYC and the Department of Transportation, the API-loving developers at Barbarian Group are ready to show off a new little product of theirs called “Screenstagram,” which like the name suggests was inspired by screensavers and the increasingly popular Instagram app. TBG’s software (Mac-only, sorry PCs) syncs up your Instagram albums or photos from popular feeds and displays them as a screensaver.

You can watch Screenstagram in action above, download the actual app here and or check out the background/geek speak on it here.  Now, we wonder just what kind of Instagram innovation would we see if the Barbarians and the “mythbusters of advertising” ever combined forces. Hmm.
