Taylor Swift Shows How Apple Music Is ‘Distractingly Good’

By Erik Oster

Taylor Swift promotes Apple Music as “Distractingly Good” in the new 60-second spot “Taylor vs. Treadmill,” created in-house.

The spot opens on Swift thinking to herself that she hates cardio and selecting a playlist that beings with a Drake and Future track. Rapping along with the song, she soon loses focus of what she’s doing and wipes out (but doesn’t that let that interrupt her flow), as the spot concludes with the “Distractingly good.” tagline. It’s  simple but memorable approach all but ensured to go viral thanks to Swift’s involvement and the sheer shereability of seeing the world’s biggest pop star thrown from a treadmill only to keep on rapping.  The ad arrives after the service hit the 11 million subscriber mark in the crowded streaming subscription marketplace in February. It also arrives on the heels of Beats by Dre’s decision to reach out to agencies beyond R/GA as its eyes expansion.
