And in case you missed in AdWeak, Pepsi is doing its usual thing of using celebs to boost their profile through five spots. Gatorade G2 with spot featuring New York Yankee Derek Jeter by Element 79, Chicago. SoBe Life Water will feature lunatic supermodel Naomi Campbell. Life Water was created by The Arnell Group and is supposed to go head to head with Vitamin Water, by the way. Amp Energy will get two spots with Dale Earnhardt Jr. And Diet Pepsi Max will air throw up Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, Macy Gray and Missy Elliott. All these last spots, including the very cool silent “Pepsi” commercial, were done by BBDO.
