–BBDO San Francisco added Heidi Keel to its roster as VP, Strategy Director. Starting this week, Keel will work on Wells Fargo and various other accounts; she joins BBDO from Digitas SF.
-Philadelphia direct response agency DMW Direct hired Emmy Izykowsk as its newest Senior Account Executive. Izykowsk, who most recently handled Radian, Crozer-Keystone Health System, Comcast and other clients for Holton, Sentivan + Gury, will now focus primarily on the Premera Blue Cross account in addition to various side projects.
-“Audience-targeted television advertising company” Simulmedia appointed Wendell Wenjen to the newly created position of VP, Business Development. Wenjen most recently served as Director of Interactive TV and Advertising Platforms at LG Electronics–a position that prepared him for interacting with ad tech companies. He previously worked on the tech side at Intel, Acer and Flextronics.
-Integrated marketing firm MMGY appointed a new Managing Director for its Orlando office. Kerry Cannon has a history in the travel field, serving as the first VP of Cahners Travel Group, which is now Northstar Travel Media. Cannon’s most recent role was CEO and founder of Westport, Connecticut’s Interactive Mobile @dvertising, Inc. (before you ask, it’s pronounced “I’m at”). He will report directly to MMGY CEO Clayton Reid.
