Sony Stares Down the Rabbit Hole

180 LA veers from the Peyton Manning/Justin Timberlake shenanigans for a tick and gives us this new ad that was unveiled at CES last night and is part of its global “make.believe” effort for the brand. Here, a starry-eyed, mop-topped lad takes an adventurous trip through the Sony underworld and hops a ride with John Cusack, almost gets run over in a simulation of Playstation’s MotorStorm Pacific Rift game and checks out some emo/pop-rock-ish band along the way. Veteran commercial director Noam Murro directs and we’re still trying to figure out who’s narrating. Full credits after the jump…
