Ryan Denning was promoted to managing director of R/GA’s San Francisco office, which services clients including Taco Bell, HP and Nike. Denning, a 10-year R/GA vet who relocated to the west coast in September 2008, will partner with SF’s executive creative director Mauro Cavalletti and take a more active role in developing new business along with the usual client responsibilities.
Considering that the agency’s also recently appointed three interaction design directors, three associate creative directors, one account director, and a group director in SF, Denning sounds pretty accurate when he states that “R/GA and San Francisco still have a lot to learn about each other.”
