-Senior art director Cassondra Bazelow and senior copywriter Caroline Monday recently left VaynerMedia to launch a freelance operation, which they’ve promoted with a new video titled “‘Twas the Month Before Christmas.”

-M&C Saatchi Australia chief creative officer Andy DiLallo left the agency in a “shock exit” after less than two years. The release claims he quit to spend more time with his young family.

-Havas created “group chairman” roles to unite media and creative in the U.K.

-It’s 2016, yet the act of putting a lesbian couple in an ad for cheap jewelry remains controversial.

-Fake celebrity hires are still popular, though. French champagne house G.H. Mumm has named Olympic runner Usain Bolt as its new CEO or “chief entertainment officer.” Yeah, there’s a video.

-Could an American agency get away with making a disturbing ad about child brides with fake home visits to unsuspecting parents? We doubt it.

-OOH company Vector Media named Publicis/Zenith veteran Michael Doucet as its new national account manager & integration strategist.

-Ad Contrarian thinks social media marketing is all bullshit since Facebook’s own studies reveal “likes” and “shares” to have no real measurable value.

-Cyber Monday 2016 will top last year’s sales by “almost double digits,” so we can all look forward to more ads about the fake holiday in 2017.

-“People suspect” that Omnicom’s Hearts & Science won the $2 billion AT&T review because it was willing to share the revenue with the client.
