-Former Arnold Worldwide creative director Luke Perkins, who most recently has worked on campaigns for New Balance among others while at said agency, has joined Portland, OR-based shop North as ECD, effective April 1.

-Brand consultancy Interbrand has appointed Stephan Gans to the newly created position of chief strategy officer for North America.

-Following the usual “competitive review,” Lowe Campbell Ewald has been named agency of record for Energy Upgrade California. IPG-owned LCE’s L.A. office will now team up with Momentum for experiential marketing, Casanova Pendril for Hispanic-targeted marketing and InterTrend for Asian-targeted marketing to help launch its newest client.

-FCB Chicago and KFC bring it on for St. Patrick’s Day (above).

-The Cannes Lions folks have announced their 2014 Film, Media, Promo & Activation and inaugural Product Design juries. link

-San Francisco-based agency Muh-Tay-Zik | Hof-Fer has welcomed Zach Rubin, who most recently managed the Google account at Mullen SF, as its director of account management.
