New York-based shop People Ideas & Culture beat out the likes of Arnold, Publicis and Cramer-Krasselt to win AOR duties for the Mohegan Sun account (let’s now pray for no more horrible 80’s song renditions) . Why PI&C? Well, according to a statement from George Galinsky, VP of marketing communications for the CT-based casino, “People Ideas & Culture was chosen because of their overall approach, their renowned senior talent and their ability to bring together a team of best-in-class partners. The AOR duties for Mohegan had been previously handled by KBS+P. Along with People Ideas & Culture, Naked Communications will oversee marketing and channel integration for the brand, Profero and T.A.G. will manage digital/social media and production, respectively and Horizon Media will serve as media agency.
