Former SS+K Writer Resurfaces, Launches Mobile App

By Bob Marshall

Ten months ago, AgencySpy posted a video from copywriter Joe Sayaman titled “PEACE OUT SS+K.” In nearly three minutes of Kid Cudi-backed flashcard wizardry, Sayaman quit the post he held for three years while saying goodbye his co-workers with funny sketches. As he told us then, Sayaman left his employer to “try out other stuff.” Yep, he was pretty vague about it.

It turns out Sayaman’s actual motivation for leaving was to work on his own start-up with partners Peter Cortez and Jason Culbertson, ultimately named Recco. Functioning as a mobile application, Recco allows users to recommend local businesses to their friends when they don’t trust Google reviews or Yelp.

The program is currently only available through the iTunes App Store (sorry interested Android users), and a preview of the software can be downloaded here.
