Fallon Hypes The Big Ten Network

By Erik Oster

Fallon launched a new campaign for the Big Ten Network which broke today, featuring 15-second spots for each of the conference’s football teams.

Each spot highlights a tradition for its respective team, such as the one for Ohio State (above), showing head coach Urban Meyer polishing the team’s National Championship trophy. The campaign arrives ahead of today’s game between the University of Michigan and Utah. Other spots in the campaign show Kyle Flood sharpening an axe in preparation for Rutgers’ traditional Big Chop, the Northwestern Wildcats’ Pat Fitzgerald surrounded by “wild cats” and Jim Harbaugh saluting the statue of former University of Michigan coach Bo Schembechler. Each 15-second ad ends with the message “College Sports!” and the logo for the Big Ten Netork. We’ve included several of the spots below, each part of a YouTube playlist containing the campaign in its entirety. The campaign makes its debut on the Big Ten Network and Fox affiliates, as well as online.
