Six months after being installed as CEO of McCann Worldgroup EXP, the IPG-owned agency’s production services unit, we’ve been told that Eric Keshin is no longer with the agency. Keshin had logged quite some tenure at McCann, spending 30 some-odd years at the agency, eventually assuming the role of COO of Worldgroup in 2005. Sources familiar with the matter tell us that “it just wasn’t working out” and that McCann Worldgroup CEO Nick Brien sent a memo to staff last night informing them of the news.
During his tenure, Keshin thrice won the McCann-Erickson General Manager’s Award and held the COO post of McCann Erickson NY for seven years before being bumped up to the Worldgroup post in ’05.
