Draftfcb Follows ‘Realignment’ with ‘Reinforcement’ of NA Ops

By Kiran Aditham

As part of its ongoing “realignment,” DraftFCB announced staffing changes, specifically that the agency’s worldwide CSO Michael Fassnacht (pictured) has been named the new president of its Chicago office. In turn, Mark Modesto, who a spy alleges was actually escorted out of the agency, is no longer with DraftFCB and his regional role has been eliminated.

Fassnacht’s core leadership team will include MD Karen Sauder, CCO Rob Sherlock, chief strategic planning officer Jamie Shuttleworth, chief media officer Bob Bernstein, North America director of business development Nick Paul, group management director Mat Lignel, and director of human resources Robin Rosen.

DraftFCB’s New York office, meanwhile, apppointed Dana Maiman, most recently the president and CEO of Draftfcb Healthcare, to its Global Operating Council. Maiman will also assume executive management responsibilities for all local Draftfcb operations in New York, including Draftfcb New York and Draftfcb Healthcare. On the client tip, Mark Pacchini has been given sole executive management responsibility for all of SC Johnson’s business around the world.
