DLKW Lowe, Remy Martin Team Up with Jeremy Renner for ‘One Life, Live Them’ Launch

By Erik Oster

DLKW Lowe teamed up with professional good looking person/actor/singer/house-renovating business owner Jeremy Renner in its “One Life/Live Them” launch spot for Remy Martin.

The spot opens on Renner on the set of an action movie, a familiar scenario for the actor, who has appeared in The Bourne Legacy, Thor and The Avengers. “I guess I’ve always been hard to label,” Renner says after the director yells cut. He adds that he’s “not one thing, never have been,” and rather that he’s “always wanted to be many things. The spot shows Renner pouring over a floor plan for his house-renovating business, singing on-stage and enjoying a Remy Martin with friends at the bar. Star power aside, it’s a pretty standard lifestyle spot for a liquor brand, not offering much in connection with the actual project and expressing that concept with the unfortunate “One Life/Live Them” tagline. Supporting the 60-second spot in the integrated campaign are digital, print (featured below) and OOH elements, also featuring Renner.

“Actor, producer, musician and home renovator – Jeremy’s multifarious abilities make him the ideal representative for the brand’s One Life/Live Them campaign,” explained Rémy Martin CEO Eric Vallat. “This is a new chapter in the history of Rémy Martin, and we’re delighted to be working with someone who so completely embodies the lifestyle that we are celebrating.”

“For too long the premium spirits category has represented the journey, often soulless, towards achieving a singular ambition,” added DLKW CEO Jamie Elliott. “This campaign celebrates a new generation’s desire to enjoy life’s journey and express their multiple talents and in so doing redefine success. It has been a pleasure to develop it in partnership with the Remy Martin team.”
