To top off your Friday and send you out into the cold, dark weekend, we’re turning the floor over to the folks at SF-based shop Division of Labor.
If you recall, Division of Labor stirred a bit of a reaction last month with its “storefront” advertisements. Well, this time around, the agency is trying to do a “good deed” and offering to take the recently orphaned Flip Camera brand into its warm embrace. In a move that shocked the masses, parent company Cisco announced it was doing away with Flip as part of a company restructuring that is ditching its attention toward consumer products.
In a blog post on Division and Labor’s website, a Craigslist ad for the company is followed by a plea from the shop that reads, “Cisco, if you don’t want it, can we have it? Seriously. We’ll buy it. You’re just gonna trash it. Let us have a go at it. Our number is 415-944-8185. Call us and we’ll figure something out.” You move, Cisco.
