Jenny Awasano Promoted to SVP, Group Creative Director at DigitasLBi

DigitasLBi promoted agency veteran Jenny Awasano to the role of senior vice president, group creative director, tasked with leading the American Express Consumer account while continuing to work on new business and special projects.

She will continue to report to Atit Shah, Digitas LBi executive vice president, head of new brand experiences for North America and executive creative director for New York and Atlanta.

“Jenny is a bit of a creative anomaly. On one hand, she has a deep passion for storytelling, but she can also completely geek out on the engineering, the media, and the data pipes that make a brand platform succeed and scale,” Shah said in a statement. “That’s why she’s been invaluable in the creation of some of our best and most awarded efforts – we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her rise.”

Awasano joined DigitasLBi around ten years ago and has worked with clients including American Express, the Ad Council and charity:water. She contributed to an American Express campaign that won two Cannes Lions Grand Prix awards and her work has also been recognized with Effies, Shortys, Webbys, Adweek’s Media Plan of the Year and more.
