Cheil USA Welcomes New CSO, Profiles Toy Maker in the Process

By Kiran Aditham

Fresh off of acquiring McKinney and soliciting the acting services of James Franco, Cheil USA is bolstering its leadership by adding a new chief strategy officer in Yusuf Chuku. The new CSO (left) arrives from JWT New York, where he spent nearly four years playing multiple roles at the agency, whether it be global planning director on Smirnoff, strategy lead for Kimberly-Clark and Stride Gum or helping launch Microsoft Office 2010. The exec, who got his career started at DDB London, also spent time at Naked’s London office and also served as partner at U.K. marketing consultancy Staufenberger, Smith & Butte.

In addition to Chuku’s hiring, Cheil USA also shines a light on L.A.-based street artist/toy maker Tristan Eaton, who helps promote the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 while offering us a look into his seemingly semi-charmed kind of life. Take a looksee below if you please.
