After spending barely eight months as worldwide head of strategic planning at Digitas, Simon Calvert’s time at the agency has come to an end. An agency spokesperson tells us, “it is mutually agreed that Simon will leave Digitas. We wish him the very best.” Calvert, who was based in Digitas’s London office, joined the Publicis Groupe/VivaKi agency from Draftfcb, where he spent over five years and held titles including global chief planning officer and executive strategy director for the London office.
During his career, Calvert worked on the account side at the likes of Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson and once served as head of strategy at Proximity. No word yet on when his last official day is at Digitas.
