BBDO New York Adds EVP, Director Data Solutions

BBDO New York appointed Tina Allan to the newly created role of executive vice president, director data solutions. Allan’s goal in the position is to make “the work work even better” by making better use of BBDO’s analytical tools while also augmenting Omnicom’s marketing technology platform, Annalect. She joins BBDO this week as a member of its senior management team.

Allan arrives at BBDO following over 20 years at RAPP. She first joined RAPP in 1995 as director of studio operations, before being promoted to director of creative services and operations in 2004, and over the years helped lead the organization through many changes as she rose to roles as chief of client operations in 2010, managing director of RAPP New York this May and chief client officer this summer. Over the years she has worked with clients including HP, Pfizer, American Family Insurance and Time Warner Cable, and across business sectors such as healthcare, automotive, B-to-B and retail.

“We all know that, used smartly, data can help inform the creative product: what’s working, what’s not, in real-time and throughout the creative process,” said BBDO New York president and CEO John Osborn. “The problem is – it can be overwhelming. Tina is someone who focuses on marrying logic and magic to drive clients’ businesses forward. She makes the complex simple… As Chief Client Officer at RAPP, she worked with a number of current BBDO clients and knows about greater collaboration for better outcomes for our clients. She’s also a really really good person, which makes her doubly perfect for this new role.”

“I think BBDO is at a tipping point:  the work is already great. Now, we have a chance to empower the teams at BBDO to do what they do easier, smarter and faster,” added Allan. “I am excited to be a part of those teams.”
