Arnold Boston Adds Martinez as VP/CD

By Michael Musco

After a five-year stint at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Jose Luis Martinez has left the Bay Area for Boston to join up with Arnold Worldwide as VP, creative director. During his time at Goodby, the digital creative worked on accounts including Haagen Dazs, Hewlett-Packard, Hyundai and Sprint among others.

Martinez’s biggest claim to fame while at GS&P could arguably be his digital work for Sprint, including the launch of the “Now Network” campaign, which won an Integrated Campaign Gold Lion at Cannes in 2009 and has been recognized by the Clios, the One Show, D&AD and the Andy’s.

Prior to Goodby, Martinez worked at EVB and led creative teams on Wrigley’s Orbit and Winterfresh gum, Hitachi and Adidas. His hire at Arnold marks the third senior creative that the agency’s brought onboard at the VP/CD level, following the additions of Steve Caputo and Tom Morhous, who previously worked at R/GA and AKQA, respectively.
