180 Alum Farhang Winds Up at uber content

By Kiran Aditham

It looks like Amir Farhang’s directing aspirations are quickly being realized as 180 LA’s former creative director of digital and innovation has now signed up with Hollywood-based prodco über content for U.S. commercial representation.

Farhang, who left 180 LA earlier this year after co-writing/creative directing campaigns such as Sony’s “Rocket Project” and Adidas “Basketball is Brotherhood” while at the agency, most recently directed those Baby Carrots spots (example here) out of CP+B. During his career, Farhang actually served as a copywriter at Crispin as well as BBH New York before joining 180. In a statement, he says of his new post, “That moment when you go into production has always been the most exciting part of the job for me and the move into directing has always in the back of my mind. I am extremely grateful that the opportunity with über came to fruition. It’s going to be fun.”
