WXIX has announced Amy Wagner is joining the Cincinnati FOX affiliate as an anchor and investigative reporter.
“Amy is an aggressive, hard working, experienced local reporter and all around terrific person; and she is a native of Cincinnati,” said Kevin Roach, WXIX news director.
Wagner will anchor on Friday and Saturday nights. Her first day will be next Tuesday, July 16.

“Amy’s knowledge of our community makes her the perfect addition to our local news team,” said general manager Bill Lanesey.
From 2004 until 2011, Wagner worked for Cincinnati’s WLWT before leaving to work for Susan G. Komen of Greater Cincinnati. Wagner has also worked at WLKY in Louisville, KY, and WBKO in Bowling Green, KY.
