WXII Reporter Splits His Pants During Live Shot

WXII traffic reporter Chris Lea lived an “everyone’s greatest fear” moment. He split his pants. As an added bonus he did it on live TV.

Lea was a guest on a segment called Lanie’s Backyard Barbecue during the Winston-Salem, NC, NBC affiliate’s 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. news. He challenged a local high school cheerleader to a toe touch off. Each had to perform that jump in the air, do the splits and touch your toes move cheerleaders do.
