WXII anchor Nicole Ducouer announced she’s leaving the station. Ducouer made the news in a Facebook live video.
“Friday will be my last day on WXII news. I’m leaving for an incredible opportunity,” she said.
Ducouer is taking a job as corporate communications director for IFB communications. She talked about the organization and how she will be raising awareness about the challenges the visually impaired face.

Ducouer has been an anchor-reporter for the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for 12 years.
