WVUE Names Chief Meteorologist to Replace Retiring Chief

By Kevin Eck

David Bernard has been named chief meteorologist by New Orleans Fox affiliate WVUE. He will replace chief Bob Breck, who retires in March.

Nola.com reports Breck will become the station’s hurricane expert when needed. Bernard moves from mornings to nights and will be replaced by Shelby Latino.

Bernard came from WFOR in Miami in November. He worked at WWL in New Orleans before that.
