NBC-owned WVIT announced today it has hired Tara Joyce as a morning anchor. Joyce, who has been a reporter at the station for the last year, will join the NBC Connecticut Today morning newscast alongside Todd Piro, Bob Maxon and Heidi Voight.
“Tara has demonstrated tremendous dedication to NBC Connecticut and our viewers,” said Matt Piacente, WVIT’s news director. “She solidifies our morning team and our station commitment to provide viewers with local news, weather and traffic that impacts their daily lives.”
