WUSA To Debut Ice Desk Of Its Own Tonight

On its last tour through the US, the Polar Vortex was celebrated by Cleveland NBC affiliate WKYC with an anchor desk made of ice.

Not to be outdone, Washington, D.C., CBS affiliate WUSA will debut its own ice desk on a night lows are expected to be in the mid-teens. Freelance reporter Nikki Burdine sent out a Vine showing the design.

The station promised it will be broadcasting its 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. shows from the desk made of nature’s warning sign that it’s too cold to be outside.
