WUSA and The Washington Post to Partner

By Kevin Eck

Washington, D.C. CBS affiliate WUSA and The Washington Post say they now have a video sharing agreement and an editorial partnership.

The Post will stream some of  the Gannett-owned station’s live video and post video reports on its website. Links to WUSA content will also be available on the regional home page. WUSA gets to use video and photography from the Posts in its newscasts and on its website.

“We are extremely proud to partner with The Washington Post,” said Bill Lord, WUSA station manager and news director. “We believe this will extend our brand and improve the overall quality of our products on television and online.”
