WUSA anchor Annie Yu is back on-air after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed health issue in February,
“I’m happy to be back with all of you and i just want to take a moment to say thank you to everybody who sent messages, lovely messages of encouragement and support,” Yu told viewers during the 5:30 a.m. show. “You have no idea until you are in that moment how much that means to you and how much it helps you so thank you again.”
Yu had surgery on February 3 after taking time off from the Washington, D.C. CBS station.
