Raleigh-Durham ABC-owned station WTVD has named Michelle Germano news director.
Germano starts at WTVD in September. She comes from KOLD in Tucson, Ariz. and replaces Rob Elmore who left WTVD in May to lead the newsroom at KABC in Los Angeles.

She worked at KOLD for 12 years. She’s also worked as an associate producer at KPRC in Houston and an as an anchor and assistant news director at KZTV in Corpus Christi, Texas.
