WTNH Teams Up With College to Win Murrow Award

When WTNH won an Edward R. Murrow Award recently it did so with the help of a Quinnipiac journalism professor and 29 of her students.

Professor Amy Walker and her students, along with the Hartford ABC affiliate collaborated on a story about the effects of rising seawater on the state’s communities. The students did research and interviews, then built a website along with WTNH investigate reporter David Iversen.
