WTNH anchor Stephanie Simoni has left the Hartford-New Haven, Ct. ABC affiliate.
She announced the news on social media last week.
“To my News 8 coworkers past and present: It has been a privilege to be in this crew,” she said. “You are talented, smart, kind and resilient. We have had thousands of laughs and even a few tears together. I have learned from each and every one of you. Thank you.”
Simoni started working as a morning anchor and reporter at WTNH in 2012. Before that, she worked at KATV in Little Rock, Ark. and WJCL in Savannah, Ga.
Simoni said Thursday was her last day and that she is staying in Connecticut. She will announce her new career move soon.
