WTNH Anchor Anne Craig Leaves to Spend More Time With Family

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

WTNH anchor Anne Craig is trading her evening shift for more time with her family.

“It has been one of my life’s greatest joys to deliver the news in the great state of Connecticut,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “Not being home in the evening for my family has weighed heavily on me. So after more than two decades of writing other peoples stories, I’m excited to write my own.”

Craig’s last newscast will be on February 28. She anchors the 5p.m and 11p.m. shows for the ABC affiliate.

Prior to her time in Connecticut, Craig worked at WNYW in New York City as an anchor-reporter. She also did stints in Orlando, Florida and Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

She plans to continue to fill in on the desk when needed.
