Tribune confirmed to TVSpy it has parted ways with Tina Luque, news director at Norfolk, Va., CBS affiliate WTKR.
Before being informed of her dismissal, Luque posted a photo of her office door, decorated for her birthday–complete with a wheelchair and “Caution: Slow Senior” sign–by newsroom employees, who planned to celebrate with her today:

Luque joined WTKR in 2008 from WIS in Columbia, S.C. She previously worked at stations in Philadelphia and Boston.
The change in leadership comes as WTKR prepares for the critical November book.
