WTIC’s Lorenzo Hall Heading to D.C.

WTIC 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. co-anchor Lorenzo Hall is leaving the Connecticut Fox affiliate later this summer.

Hall joined the Tribune-owned station three years ago from WTVR in Richmond. A Tribune spokesperson says Hall and his husband Jesse Burkett are heading back home to the Virginia/Washington DC area for a “great opportunity.” “Lorenzo is committed to working with us over the summer on our transition plan,” the spokesperson said.

“Three years ago we pulled into Hartford with everything we owned crammed into a UHaul and car in tow,” Burkett wrote on Facebook Tuesday. “We pulled off I-91 and into a new chapter of our lives.”
