WTAJ Adds an Hour of News at 4 p.m. To Lineup

WTAJ, the CBS affiliate in Johnstown, PA, is the latest station to announce a venture into the 4 p.m. hour. The station will debut an hour-long newscast in that timeslot on September 12.

According to WTAJ, the broadcast will be the first news programming at 4 p.m. in the Johnstown market. Anchored by Dawn Pellas and Sarah Swistak, the program will be a fully interactive platform, engaging and connecting viewers through the station’s website, Facebook and Twitter.

“In addition to local news, weather and feature reporting from the WTAJ news team, we are very excited to bring new and exclusive lifestyle and community interest programming to Central Pennsylvania with ‘Central Pa. Live,'” vice president and general manager Phil Dubrow said in a statement.
