WSMH, the Fox affiliate in Flint, Mich., has announced it will be producing a new 10 p.m. newscast, complete with “exclusive content for Mid-Michigan viewers” and a new anchor lineup.
The new team includes: anchors Dave Bondy and Sadie Hughes, chief meteorologist Ty Shesky, sports director Tom Eschen and consumer reporter Jennifer Profitt.
This is something of a homecoming for Bondy, who previously served as anchor/reporter at the station from 2002 to 2007.
“We are excited to bring new energy to Mid-Michigan TV viewers at a time and on a channel they’ve been accustomed to. Viewers will receive the best local news coverage from the area’s fastest growing news operation,” said WSMH news director Mike Schram.
The new 10 p.m. broadcast begins this Monday.
